If you want to take your car to France but travel separately from it, you can use AutoTrain. The service, which runs from Paris, is available all year and transports cars and passengers on separate trains.

Cars are taken overnight on train carriers, while you follow on, either during the day or night, on a separate train and collect your car when you get to your destination.

Autotrain must be booked at least 5 working days before travel.
