Ever fancied spending a month whizzing round Europe taking in as many sights and cities as you can? Or perhaps you’d prefer to spend a leisurely few weeks getting to know every nook and cranny of a particular country?
Whatever your preference, InterRailing is by far the most exciting way to explore the Continent. From buzzing capital cities to charming villages, and from snow-capped Alpine landscapes to sun-kissed Mediterranean beaches, an InterRail pass turns your holiday into an adventure.
Still not convinced? Here are five reasons why you should pack your bags and go InterRailing this summer:
1. It’s flexible
With an InterRail pass, Europe really is your oyster. With a Global Pass you can just turn up at the station and take your pick from hundreds of destinations.
Some trains require seat reservations.
2. It’s affordable
With One Country passes starting at as little as £30, InterRailing is the price conscious way to explore Europe. You’ll also benefit from additional discounts on ferries, museums and hotels.
3. It’s convenient
European trains take you right to the heart of the city, which means you don’t waste your precious time and money on airport transfers. There are no hidden baggage surcharges either.
4. It’s relaxing
Really get to know Europe by watching glorious mountain passes, dramatic coastlines, picture perfect villages and beautiful cities pass by your window. The train lets you see it all, rather than a fleeting glimpse through the clouds.
5. It turns your holiday into an adventure
An InterRail pass is your ticket to thousands of destinations from Scandinavia to Sicily, France to the far eastern corners of Turkey. You could kick off your adventure in the heat of southern Spain or Italy and wind your way up to the chilly climes of northern Sweden. Head off on a whim or stay a while and get to know new places and people – with an InterRail pass, it’s up to you!
