Weird Festivals Fancy getting covered from head to toe in overripe tomatoes in the baking hot Valencia sunshine? Or how about sprinting through Pamplona behind an angry, snorting bull?

If museums, art galleries and relaxing on the beach aren’t your thing, Europe’s home to a whole host of weird and wonderful festivals which make an enthrallingly memorable addition to your holiday itinerary.

We’ve rounded up ten of the best, from the dramatic costumes of the Venice Carnival, to bizarre goings on with a goose in the Basque Country. Best of all, you can even take part in most of them yourself.

Just head over to our website to get some inspiration.

Always fancied heading to Pamplona for the running of the bulls. I'm not so sure about that business with the goose though!
