How would you like to board a Eurostar train one balmy Saturday morning in the height of summer and sweep through the stunning French countryside to the medieval city of Avignon in time for a late lunch?
From July 9 to September 10 2011 inclusive, Eurostar runs a weekly direct service to
Avignon from St Pancras International and Ashford International and back every Saturday.
Trains leave London at 07.17 and Ashford at 07.55, arriving right in the heart of Avignon’s impressive city walls at 14.08. Return journeys leave Avignon at 16.24, arriving at Ashford at 20.33 and St Pancras at 21.09.
Return tickets start at just £109. If you’re looking for a stylish way to reach the lavender fields of Provence this summer, the Direct Avignon service is the only way to travel. You can now make bookings for next summer's services. Just use the search box on the right to book your journey.

Hi Paul - it's definitely not an April Fool - you really can get to Avignon from just £109 return! Unfortunately a technical glitch is causing our dates to appear in the American mm/dd/yy format. We are trying to get this fixed so that the UK format is used.
