Re: Save money on a Swiss Pass
i would like to inquire regarding the buy one get one free swiss pass. how much will it cost us as a family. 2 adults (me & my husband) our daughter (14 years old) and our son (3years old). we're from UK and we're planning to visit switzerland middle of may. What does the pass includes? Does it includes the train around city proper? Thank you.

Re: Save money on a Swiss Pass
Hi Slazer, you and your husband would be able to benefit from the two for one pass, and so you can get two 4 day consecutive passes for £167. Your daughter can get a youth pass for £148 for the same period. If your son travels on your lap, he can travel for free.
Swiss passes acan be used on all public transport within Switzerland. Please see www.raileurope.co.uk/Default.aspx?tabid=1345 for further discounts that you can get with the pass.

Re: Save money on a Swiss Pass
Hi Sam, a Swiss pass covers all public transport in Switzerland, so you don't need to go to a specific town. You could either choose to stay in one hotel and use that as a base for exploring, or you could stay at several hotels to travel around the country. The Pass doesn't cover the cost of the hotel, but can give you access to discounts. See www.raileurope.co.uk/Default.aspx?tabid=1345 for details of these.

Re: Save money on a Swiss Pass
Hi Nasi - We don't have any offers confirmed for June as yet, but we are expecting a few specials over the summer. As soon as they are confirmed, we'll be blogging about them. We'll also post them on our Facebook and Twitter pages - we're @RailEuropeUK if you want to follow us!

Re: Save money on a Swiss Pass
Hi Josephine - there are no special offers on Paris to Lisbon I'm afraid. Looking at the route, I think the best option is a day train from Paris to Irun, where you change onto the overnight service to Lisbon. As we're now quite close to your date of travel, the availability is very limited on the overnight service. It looks like there may only be reclining seats, or single or double sleepers, which are at the top end of the fare range.

Re: Save money on a Swiss Pass
Hi Mr/Ms Bhartee - we are expecting to have this offer available again later in the year, but the dates we've been given are for travel from 1 September to 30 November, which is a bit too later for your trip - sorry :(

Re: Save money on a Swiss Pass
Hi Salam - It reallly depends on where you will be travelling and how much travel you want to make in those 4 days. If you're going to be travelling within Switzerland, then the 4 day Swiss pass could be the best option for you. You can find out more about the range of passes available here -http://www.raileurope.co.uk/Default.aspx?tabid=2378

Hi Jie - We're not aware of any offers over that time period I'm afraid. The offer will be repeated, but not until the end of the summer.

Hi Keith - Unfortunately the next offer we're expecting won't be until the end of the summer so it won't cover the dates you're looking to travel.

Re: Save money on a Swiss Pass
Hi Amanda - The 2-for-1 Swiss Pass offer is valid on the 4-day and 4-days in one month flexi passes. As the blog advises, these start from £167. The promotional can only be booked via our Travel Centre and our Call Centre and not online.
