Are you travelling to Paris with Eurostar? Renovations are underway at the Eurostar check-in area at Paris Gare du Nord. For the next couple of months improvements are being made to make your time at the station as stress free as possible.
There is already a brand new Eurostar ticket office and further improvements will open up space between check-in and the departure lounges - enabling a smoother journey through security and passport controls.
Eurostar will also be working on improving their display of information.
During these renovation works you should allow extra time to check in. We advise at least an extra 30 minutes before you would normally check in, particularly between December 2011 and February 2012.
Whenever possible Eurostar will try and keep to the 10-minute check-in process for Business Premier and Eurostar carte blanche holders. However, throughout January 2012 they do expect queues so do make sure you allow extra time to get through check-in.
Have you experienced the new Eurostar check-in area? Let us know what you think.
