Lille Europe station sits on the high speed TGV line
running north into Belgium and south into the heart of France via Paris
. Since it was built in 1994 it has also welcomed Eurostar
services from the UK
The ultra-modern station building, with its 46 platforms, is spread over two floors and contains lots of shops and eateries. But if you hanker after some serious retail therapy, head to the Euralille Shopping Centre. Within walking distance of the train station, it’s said to be Europe’s largest retail centre.
