Geneva Cornavin Train Station is in the heart of the city and connected to the main shopping street by a subway. But trams and buses are also on hand if you need them.
Place Cornavin 1201 Genève
The station is right in the heart of town and most things are in easy walking distance.
Buses and trams run across the city from right outside the main station exit. You can buy tickets for travel from dispensers at stops or at newstands.
There is a taxi rank outside the train station if you’ve got a lot of luggage.
With just eight platforms, Geneva Cornavin Train Station is smallish when compared with the other main stations in Switzerland.
First opened in 1858, the current station building dates back to the 1930s. Below the station is a shopping concourse.
