Disabled facilities on Alvia services

Alvia trains have facilities on board for disabled passengers including wheelchair and companion spaces and disabled toilets.

Wheelchairs with dimensions no larger than 70cm wide, 130cm front to back and 140cm tall can be used on board. Larger wheelchairs can be taken on board if they can be folded down and the passenger can transfer to a seat on the train.

Ramps are available to help passengers on and off the train, and dedicated staff are on hand throughout the journey to assist where necessary.

Passengers in need of assistance should arrive at the station 30 minutes before departure. Full details of travelling with a disability on Spanish rail service can be found on the dedicated section on the Renfe website.
