Luggage rules on the Eurostar Direct Avignon and Provence services

Pack it in

Eurostar’s luggage policy is a lot more flexible than that of the airlines. Here are the important points:
  • You’re allowed two medium-sized items with a maximum length of 85cm, plus one item of hand luggage.
  • Children are allowed 1 bag and 1 piece of hand luggage
  • No need to check in these items.
  • No weight limit.
  • Each item must have a label showing your name, seat number, date of travel and destination.
  • Hand luggage can go in the overhead racks; larger items in the suitcase storage areas by the doors.
Because the Direct Avignon and Provence services are weekly, it’s assumed that many passengers will make use of their full allowance. To make room, this train has slightly fewer seats than other Eurostar services – so there’s no need to worry about having to keep your suitcase on your lap!
