Most European trains offer first and standard class travel, although they may be
named differently. For example, Eurostar
calls its premium class leisure fare ‘Standard Premier’ and its premium class business
fare ‘Business Premier’.
A limited number of trains, including Eurostar, offer a business class of travel.
The actual services and facilities in each class vary across the different train
operators and types of train.

are like »
Generally, first class travel is more comfortable and spacious. It may include extras
like a meal and access to a first class lounge.
On overnight trains, classes work a bit differently. There are usually several classes
of travel available. We explain this in more detail in our train guides and also
during the booking process.
